- Hi there!
- A friend of mine has recently given me a 0.28 SVGA monitor from his
- PC, and someone else told me that you could make a connector lead from
- the monitor (15 pin) to Amiga RGB (23 pin). Well, I got the docs off
- Aminet and made the cable up, but now my Amiga is in for repair (a
- totally unrelated matter...) and I was just wondering what kind of
- resolutions you can get out of such a monitor? Using the VGA driver
- with WB 3.1, do you only get 640x480 (or whatever VGA is)? Or can you
- get the Amiga to display higher res using this? I have heard of a
- program called MonE too... has anyone improved on the VGA driver using
- this program?
-
- I appreciate any advice you can spare - I hope all the above makes
- sense...
-
- Thanx!
